Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments

I recently hauled these pigments because I saw Sam Schuerman{Her YouTube Channel} raving about these pigments so I knew I had to pick them up!  I got mine at Target for around $6 each.  These are loose pigment eyeshadows that are supposed to give you amazing color pay off.  The packaging on these is ok.  Its like many other pigments, plastic jar with little holes at the top.  Nothing amazing.  The product comes in 12 different colors ranging from really bright colors to more neutral everyday colors.  I decided to get neutral colors because I would likely get more wear out of them.

The easiest way to apply these is with your finger in a patting motion.  Otherwise the pigment will end up all over your face! The pigments are pretty smooth and last pretty good over a primer or a base.  You definetly need to use some sort of base so the pigments will stick to your lids.  These are also pretty easy to blend out.

The major down fall with these is that they are a pigment.  It is a loose finely milled powder that has a tendancy to make a mess if you aren't careful!  This is the problem with any pigment your going to use so this isn't a slam against them in my opinion.  I really like these for the product they are but I will not likely get anymore just because it is so much easier to use a pressed shadow.

Review: Maybelline The Falsies Flared

I got this mascara because I LOVED Maybelline The Falsies the original formula so much!  I was NOT disappointed with this one at all.  Honestly,  I think the formula might be the same but the brush is a little different.  I think you would be good with either one.  I like to have really voluminous lashes as oppsed to lengthening and that is what this provides.  It doesn't get super clumpy at all.  This is a wetter formula mascara. You can find this at drug stores for around $8.

I would highly recommend this mascara.  This is just simply one of my favorites.

Review: EM Cosmetics Creamy Color Classic Lip Stick in Cuddle Up Pink

Em Cosmetics is the new make up line from fellow YouTuber Michelle Phan.{Her YouTube Channel}. It is a high end brand with several unique items.  I've gotten a few different items from them so I thought I would just break them down piece by piece.

When EM first launched they had a few deals going on and one of them included getting a lip stick so I chose this one.  This lip stick is $16.50 and you can get it at EMCosmetics.com.  There are three different finishes, classic{the one I am reviewing}, matte, and sheer.  The classic finish comes in 10 different colors.  There is a big range in colors and finishes which is really nice.  I don't think the lip stick is crazy high in price when you compare it to other luxury brands either.  The packaging is really cute.  You can tell she put a lot of thought into the packaging for each product.  It looks really sleek but fun.   The closure is pretty solid.  I'm not really worried about it braking loose in my bag.  This is VERY pigmented.  One coat and you are good!  The texture is really creamy and comfortable to wear. It lasts a decent amount of time.  You could probably make it and half day without needing to reapply.

Lip products are not really my thing. That being said I do think this is a good lipstick, but I don't think it is super unique.  I think you can find just as nice a product at the drug store and save $10.
