Review: Benefit They're Real! Mascara

Honestly,  I wasn't too impressed with this mascara.  Yes it does give some volume and some length but for me it just wasn't that amazing.  I've done reviews on many drugstore mascaras that I find work so much better and give a much better affect in my opinion.  My first issue is that it dries so quickly!  This is almost impossible to build because of that.  It's also very, very crunchy which I really dislike.  This is one of the hardest, non water proof mascaras to remove!  It sticks to your lashes and you stuck rubbing the crap out of your eyes!  This mascara runs for around $23 at Sephora and you can get it HERE!  It has plastic bristles with a spiky end to help get every lash coated.  I must say I do like the brush just not the formula.  This does also tend to flake on me.  From Benefit, I am a MUCH bigger fan of BADgal Lash.  I don't really understand all the hype for this mascara because it just doesn't do a lot for me and is pretty expensive!  If you are still wanting to try this I recommend getting a travel/sample size for $10 before you splurge and get the full size.

This Throw Back Thursday post is going to be all about the several different hair colors I had in a 10 month period when I was in beauty school!  Now I've have had many different colors since then and before then but I would say this is when my hair color changed the most frequently.  Also, as you look through these you will notice my hair getting shorter and shorter!  HA!  #1 because I wanted to always change my hair #2 because my hair was getting so damaged! LOL

Here it goes...

These first couple are from when I graduated High school and started beauty school so you can see what I started with.  It was jet black and blonde.

Then after I started I took out the black and made it more of a dark auburn.  You can't really tell in this picture but you can see that I took up the length and made it asymmetrical.  You can also see all the short, spiky layers I had for a really long time.

Then I colored it a dark purple and the put bright purple over the blonde that I had.  We also had a lot of fun with my sister's hair color as you can see.

Then one day we were just bored so we took up the length quite a bit and added a lot of highlights.

Then I took up the length even more and made my hair blonde which was CRAZY damaging.
It was even shorter then when this picture was taken.  I had on one side the length you see in the picture above and then cut up around my ear on the other side.

This is a little bit of a better representation of the cut I had.  This was the same day I made it blonde.

TBT: 2/20/2014

These pictures are from when I was about 17 and in high school.  So probably 2008 because I think this was my senior year.  I was kind of a punk rocker. HA! As I'm sure you can tell in these pictures and other Throw Back Thursdays to come!  This was for a school project.  We had to take action shots and then I just went the extra mile and added text and altered the colors and what not.   I was also showing my gymnastics skills that I still had lol.  Sort of...

This is one of my sister Mia who was maybe 16 I think.  She was more goth but this was her coming out of her goth phase lol.

I hope you guys enjoyed this Throw Back Thursday!  I'm going to try to do this every Thursday just because I think it's fun!
