Review: Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Mascara

I, for the most part, am a huge lover of Maybelline mascaras. This is not one of my favorites though. I'm slightly under whelmed by this mascara. I like the brush. It's a large natural brissel brush as opposed to a plastic brush. I also prefer wetter formula mascaras, which this is definitely one of those. I just feel that this clumps more than other Maybelline mascaras I have used and loved. This you can get at drugstores for around $7.

I dont really recommend this one just because there are other mascaras that aren't as clumpy. I will not be repurchasing this. I am wanting to try the Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes though. I'm sure I will have a review for that coming up.

Review: Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette

I have been eyeing this palette for months and I finally got it! This is a palette from Too Faced called the Boudoir Eyes Palette that is supposed to give you soft, sexy, bedroom eyes. You can get this at Sephora.com for $36. It comes with 9 shadows and 3 different look cards. If you've had any other Too Faced palette its that same kind of lay out. What is nice about this palette is that the packaging is in a slim tin. Most of the other Too Faced palettes come in a very bulky, cardboard type packaging. This palette is in a VERY convenient size. You can get very day time appropriate looks but you can easily get a very sexy, smokey eye.

The shadows are very soft and blendable. It has a really nice mix of matte and shimmery shadows. All are very pigmented. If you are wanting a palette that gives you easy sexy smokey eyes, this is the one!

I would 100% recommend this palette! I love this! Definitely go to a Sephora and swatch it yourself and you will see why!
